Overview
Cybersecurity is the practice of protecting assets, including computers, networks, information systems, and data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. Cybersecurity involves implementing a combination of technologies, processes, and controls in order to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information, protect against data breaches and cyber attacks, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.
Cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important due to the increasing reliance on technology in all aspects of society has made information systems and the data they contain more vulnerable to attack. Cybersecurity is therefore critical for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems, as well as the people, organizations, and societies that rely on them.
Cybersecurity Frameworks
A cybersecurity framework is a set of guidelines for how to structure the cybersecurity standards, tools, teams, practices, and processes that an organization uses to secure their systems.
Cybersecurity Standards
A cybersecurity standard is a set of requirements designed to protect an organization, facility, system, component, information, or other asset.
