Taking ownership of mistakes is an important part of leadership.

Taking ownership is closely related to the ability to recognize mistakes, and the ability to quickly pivot, correcting the mistake.

Attempting to maintain a facade of perfection will not work, because no one is perfect, and we all know that everyone makes mistakes.
